I love a smooth finish after applying make up and one way to achieve that is by finishing up with a setting powder. While there are many out there to choose from, my personal favorites are the e.l.f studio tone correcting powder, and NARS light reflecting loose setting powder. The two have a very different price, but I feel they both do the job. The e.l.f powder is only $3 and uses a combination of four colors in order to blend your skin to tone perfection. The NARS loose powder is perfect for taking the perfect picture because it reflects light from your skin, and gives you a matte look. I would recommend both to anyone who is looking for a nice powder, but I feel that the e.l.f powder is best for everyday looks.

One of my biggest pet peeves is when the edge of my false lashes starts to peel off. I usually purchase ELF false lashes and the glue that comes with them is nothing more than useless. So, like most girls do, I got frustrated. I decided I needed a new glue and went out and purchased Duo Eyelash Adhesive. I found that it held my lashes on all night, and they even give you the option of a clear or dark glue, which can act as eyeliner. The eyelashes came off easily when I wanted to take them off, and did not damage my actual lashes. I will definitively be purchasing this as my one and only lash glue from now on.
